Meet Lexington Criminal Defense Attorney Eric Ray:

Lexington Criminal Defense Attorney Eric Ray was born and raised in Somerset, in Pulaski County, Kentucky where he graduated from Somerset High School. He went on to earn a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Kentucky, graduating Cum Laude. He then stayed in Lexington and attended the J. David Rosenberg College of Law at UK.

While attending Law School, Eric was on the Trial Advocacy Board and became a member of the Student Public Interest Law Foundation. He also worked for the UK Legal Clinic, Jessamine County Attorney’s Office and Lexington Public Defender’s Office, where he represented clients as a criminal defense attorney.

He graduated from law school in May 2012 and was admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association in October 2012. After being admitted to the Kentucky Bar, he worked in Salyersville, primarily handling Social Security Disability claims.

Eric returned to Lexington in 2013 to open his own law firm, where he focuses on criminal defense. He was admitted to practice in the U.S. Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, in 2013.
